This Friday, November 6, Nebo School District is bringing the rivalry to the lunchroom with a special TAILGATE LUNCH! 🌮🏈
Students can predict Saturday's big winner by choosing their chips:
🔵 Cool Ranch Doritos = BYU Cougars
🔴 Nacho Cheese Doritos = Utah Utes
After lunch, we'll tally the results at all 47 schools to see who our students predict will WIN the BIG GAME! 🏆

Red Ribbon Week
This year our theme is "Make a Difference - Be That Friend!" Students will have short lessons each day on this theme and are invited to join us in our Spirit Days.

Kindergartners have been learning all about plants. While learning about the different parts of plants, students were challenged to eat a whole plant: seeds (sunflower seeds), roots (carrots), stems (celery), leaves (spinach, and flower (broccoli). Only a few students accepted the challenge and ate the WHOLE PLANT. These students received a round of applause from their classmates for their bravery and adventurous approach to learning.

Kindergarten brought reading to life! After reading the fable “Tug of War,” students participated in a grade-level tug-of-war contest on Friday. It was a fun way to connect with the story and practice teamwork!

The Santaquin Fire Dept held a coloring contest in honor of fire prevention and their upcoming open house. A student from each grade was selected as the winner with a necklace and photo by the firetruck.

The Fire Prevention Open House will be held at the Santaquin Fire Department on Wednesday October 7 from 6-8:30pm. At the open house, you can meet the Fire and EMS crew, see a lifeflight helicopter, fire trucks, demonstrations, and a Ceremonial Push-In as the brand-new fire truck is pushed by firefighters into the station for the first time.

MOVIE NIGHT UPDATE!!!
Our movie night is STILL HAPPENING TONIGHT but has been moved INDOORS due to weather.
Please enter the school on the Northside through the glass doors and join us in the gym.
Bring blankets or chairs to sit on.
Concessions and pizza will be sold starting at 7pm. Movie will start shortly after that.
Our fifth graders finished keyboarding with a district wide competition. We want to give a big shout out to the winners from Apple Valley and congratulate them on their hard work and amazing keyboarding skills! Congratulations Aiden, Finley, Elsie, and Kaizlee!
