Last night Nebo School District showcased June Lopez, Apple Valley's amazing Instructional Coach, as a Positive Energy and Kind employee. PEAK Awards are nominated by patrons and recognized by the Superintendent Staff and Nebo School Board of Education. We all love Ms Lopez and wholeheartedly agree that she is very deserving of this recognition. She is incredible working with teachers and students and she is a great part of our team! Congratulations Ms Lopez!

The annual state chess tournament this year will be nearby at the Utah Valley Convention Center on Provo Center Street on January 31, 2026. All kids in grades K–6 are welcome to play. Held by the Utah Chess Association.

Apple Valley is hosting our annual holiday food drive. We are most in need of non-perishable food items to benefit our community. Donations will be accepted in the school lobby through Fri, Dec 12

Our first graders had so much fun during a snowy recess this week. Cold hands, warm hearts, and lots of winter magic—nothing beats watching learning and friendship happen out in the snow. ❄️💙⛄️

Student council members, Ellie and Lorainne, chose to interview our awesome Kitchen Manager for this week's faculty spotlight. Ms Woodland loves to read and paint. Her favorite book is Work and the Glory. She grew up in Provo with 10 siblings and her favorite vacation was to Lake Tahoe. Donna loves listening to Keith Urban. She loves to make work fun and does not get scared.

Sydney Smith was awarded with the 25/26 Crystal Apple award. This award is presented each year to one teacher based on votes from other faculty. Sydney Smith was chosen for her amazing work with students as well as her collaboration with team members. We love Mrs. Smith and are so grateful for all she does for our school.


Apple Valley will be hosting our Halloween costume parade today at 2:45pm. Parents are invited to watch around the outside of the school. Students will be dismissed at 3:15.
