



Nebo District is offering a mental health screener for students on the evening of September 21, 2026, at Diamond Fork Middle School from 4 pm to 8 pm. We will be using Terrace Metrics software to measure mental and emotional strengths, as well as screen for anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidal ideation of students in grades 6-12. Students in grades 3-5 may participate to be screened for mental and emotional strengths, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
If you would like to participate, please sign up at https://nebomentalhealthscreener-3-5-8-4-8-3.youcanbook.me/ for an appointment. The assessment tool takes an average of 15 minutes to complete. Afterward, you and your student will meet with a school counselor or social worker to discuss the results of the assessment and receive resources, as needed.

Prior to taking the mental health screener, a consent form needs to be completed by the parent/guardian. The consent form will be available upon arrival at the screener event.

Free Summer Meals for youth ages 18 and under. Lunches served Mon-Fri 10:30-11:30 from June 1 - August 7 at the Santaquin Centennial Park (300 W 100 S). Lunches must be eaten on site. No lunch served on June 19, July 3, and July 24.


Thank you for registering your student for Kindergarten at Apple Valley next year.
To help with even class placement, we will be doing Kindergarten Screeners. These assessments will take about 15 minutes per student to complete. Parents will attend the screener with their child and wait while they are tested.

Apple Valley wants to give a big shout out to three of our teachers for graduating. Mrs Capps and Ms Stevens were here all year as interns and we were so impressed with them. They have now graduated and we wish them the very best in their futures! Ms Peery, one of our amazing third grade teachers, also graduated with her Masters in Education for Teacher Leadership.
